Hello! My name is Georgina and I'm 24 years old from West Houston. I lived in College Station for 3 years, which made me a bigger Aggie fan than I already was. I moved to Austin Jan 2022, follwoing my sisters who both moved here just a few months apart from each other. My family is Mexican and Dominican, so there is alot of us. I love traveling to these areas and their beautiful beaches but put my sumer travel plans on hold to be able to graduate soon.
I'm really into water activities and being an Aquarius, I feel at home in the water. I moved to the Texas Hill Country to enjoy the great outdoors and the various water activities the area offers. During my free time you will usually find me exploring different camp grounds. I am always looking to find new and cool spots to show my family when they come visit. For as long as I can remember we have always had a summer family reunion in Canyon Lake, one of the big reasons I am familiar and a fan of the area.
A few places I can recommend are Camp Fimfo and Camp Huaco Springs. I just recently did the Apline Coaster at Camp Fifmo and for only $20 it was such a unique experience. Camp Huaco Springs has very cool places to lounge in the water, similar to Rio Vista Park, if want to put a chair down in the water and watch everyone go by there is plenty of space. If you want to swim and go on a rapid over and over again you can. I recommend going early and getting a spot at the far East end, you won't regret it!
While I have experiencing coding, it always feels like I am learning somthing new. I am a bit scared of technology and grew up with little to no access to it. I have always been creative and okay with challanges. I took on this major because I am interested in learning how things work on the back end but want to also tie it into the psychological aspects. Although it can be overwhelming at times, I know technology is only going to become more advanced and I do not want to be stuck behind. There are also plenty of dymanic roles revolving technology in health care that it would be perfect for job security to go into health care, while i perfect my other skills.
I hope to freelance to expand my skills or intern soon. My ultimate goal is to work in PR for a Latin record label or artist. Ideally helping to design merchandise and build their personal brand. I would also love to work for the Astros or a team out of state. I'll be looking for jobs in Florida or internationally after college in health care while i chase my freelancing dreams. I'm a Texan at heart and my plan is to come back once i find a definte job in the media industry.
